SailQuery LLC · founded by Cal
Apps that take people seriously when nothing else does.
I'm Cal. SailQuery is the home for the software I build — for people managing chronic illness, repairing their relationship with food, keeping the relationships that matter, and getting through the parts of life nobody else is paying attention to.
There's a thread running through every app I ship. It's worth naming.
What every SailQuery app shares
-
01
We believe what you're going through.
Vestibular migraine. ED recovery. Food noise. Tedious networking that feels invisible. Incumbents disbelieve, infantilize, or ignore these audiences. We don't.
-
02
We don't exploit your attention.
No engagement-bait notifications. No streaks that punish you for missing a day. No "you earned X" rewards-as-shame. The product gets out of your way and earns its time.
-
03
We don't harvest your data.
On-device-first across the portfolio. No third-party SDKs running silent. No products that hold information about people who never agreed to be tracked.
-
04
We charge fairly.
Lifetime when it serves you. Subscription when it earns the recurrence. Never the bait-and-switch — no free-trial-then-charge, no hidden cancel button, no insights paywalled after you've spent 90 days feeding the app.

We listened first.
Every app starts with a long read of what users are actually saying — reviews, forums, the things people DIY because the existing tools don't fit. The product spec follows the user voice, not the other way around.

Made by Cal
I'm a solo founder. I build small, careful software for people whose problems aren't being taken seriously by anyone bigger.
Each app starts the same way: I read every review of every product in the category, listen to what users are actually saying, and refuse to ship anything that violates the five principles above. Then I sit with the audience until I understand what they need.
That's the whole pitch. If something here resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
